Kelvin Benjamin complimented Panthers WR after preseason game

Carolina at Buffalo is one of 12 games on the preseason schedule this Thursday night.

The Carolina Panthers are kicking off their preseason with a visit to the Buffalo Bills, a game that reunited Benjamin, the former Panthers receiver now playing in Buffalo, with his old quarterback in Newton.

"It was a bad fit from the get-go", Kelvin told The Athletic. Newton followed, still talking while Benjamin shrugged off whatever he was hearing. "It just felt like I wasn't in that position". "Just moving on from it".

Benjamin was later asked if this was at all hard for him considering how close he and Newton were when his career began in Carolina.

It's apparent that Benjamin harbors much more frustration from the situation than Newton. Is Benjamin right, or is he bitter about the trade that sent him to Buffalo?

Following the game, Cam kept quiet about the incident, but Benjamin spoke up a little about why he showed little interest in listening to Newton and what he had to say. Benjamin answered questions about the exchange by saying he was "moving on", although when asked what Newton said to him, Benjamin responded, "I don't know". Newton appeared to extend his hand to Benjamin to offer a handshake, but Benjamin declined.

Ok Kelvin. I guess we'll see how AJ McCarron, Nathan Peterman and Josh Allen treat you this year, bud.
