The device, which hits stores on August 24 and is available for pre-order starting Friday, offers the same look and feel of other Note devices, but the screen is slightly bigger than its predecessor at 6.4 inches. Even better, for customers in the United States, the Note 9 is making its way to many carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile.
Its S Pen stylus is Bluetooth-enabled and created to act as a remote for controlling YouTube video playback.
Leaks had previously suggested that the new Samsung Galaxy Not 9 would have exclusivity for Fortnite for the first 30 days, but a beta for a range of models has gone live. The speaker uses the "Hi Bixby" wake word and can direct sound at you depending on where you are in the room, just like the Apple HomePod. If just 5% of iPhone buyers a year purchased a pencil, that's more than a billion in extra revenue per year for Apple, not counting any additional iPad or iPhone sales from those who could use the Pencil on multiple devices.
Pre-orders for the smartphone will kick off tomorrow on 10 August, with the 6GB/128GB model costing £899, and the 8GB /512GB storage model priced at £1,099.
The Note 9 looks a lot like the Note 8, but there are some changes. The dual-camera setup is still placed horizontally and it comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted right below it.More news: Powerful Hurricane Hector on the horizon

"The Note has always been our showcase for premium technology and industry-defining innovation, and Galaxy Note 9 is no exception", said DJ Koh, president and CEO of IT and mobile communications division for Samsung. The Note also got curved edges before that became standard on Samsung's flagship phones.
At the NY event on Thursday, Samsung also introduced a new Galaxy Watch that competes with a similar product from Apple. Purists can turn the feature off to get images that reflect what the eye sees - an option unavailable with Pixel.
The phone comes with high-end specs and design, as well as the Note line's signature S Pen stylus.
