Di Marzio claims the Premier League threw out the bid on Monday night.
The French star player has been having a hard relationship with Jose Mourinho and it is believed that Raiola is ready to use that as a reason for Pogba wanting to move out of Old Trafford.
Manager Jose Mourinho has already predicted a "difficult season" if United do not do more business, so losing a World Cup-winning midfielder would only add to that.
"I will never make declarations about Paul", said the Dutch-Italian agent, who is reported to have earned just over £40 million when Pogba moved to United.
This move would reignite Jose Mourinho's interest in one of his main summer transfer targets, Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The problem for United is, the Spanish transfer window does not close until 31st August, so till the August end, the Catalan club will have the chance to sign him. Back in April, Pep Guardiola claimed Pogba was offered to Manchester City at the start of this year.More news: Russian Federation helicopter crash: Horror smash 'kills 18 with no survivors' in Siberia

At the present moment, it seems unlikely that Pogba will join Barcelona, but if the move does come off, it would set into motion one of the maddest transfer deadline days we have ever seen.
Keown, who made 310 Premier League appearances for the Gunners between 1993 and 2004, believes the club will opt against making a move for the World Cup victor because of the hefty price tag that Aubameyang arrived for in January, believed to be just around the £60m mark. However, Willian told ESPN Brazil last week that, despite his strong relationship with former boss Mourinho, his plan is to remain in London.
José Mourinho said that he would welcome any contributions made by Manchester United players who have recently returned from the World Cup.
Pogba, however, had a struggling season which saw him being left out of the starting line-up with Mourinho substituting the Frenchman on many occasions.
