This is the eighth installment in the DC Universe franchise, and the fourth movie featuring Gadot's Wonder Woman. The only recent bright spot for the DCEU seems to be Wonder Woman, and we now have our first look at the film - including a surprise return from Chris Pine!

The crew for "Wonder Woman 1984" will be in Alexandria for several weeks this summer, commonwealth officials said in a statement. We knew that joining Gal Gadot's Diana Prince would be Pedro Pascal (as somebody we don't know yet), Kristen Wiig's Cheetah, and some sort of cameo for original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter.
It is being speculated that in the second stand-alone movie, Wonder Woman will stop the world war from going nuclear, given the story arc set during the peak of geopolitical tension. Pine is seen in a shopping mall, sporting a different hairdo, standing in front of background that screams the '80s. Jenkins shared a first look at the star from the sequel, which will hit theaters on November 1, 2019. There's going to be an bad lot of explaining to do when Wonder Woman 2 hits theaters as to how Trevor is back in action.
