Sea of Solitude is an EA Originals game that was picked up by the publisher in 2o15, and has been in development since.

Gameplay-wise, there's quite a bit we don't know about Sea of Solitude.

Developed by Berlin-based Jo Mei studio, the trailer for Sea of Solitude showed off a unique cel shaded aesthetic to portray its protagonists solitude.

The game revolves around the concept of solitude, a feeling of being lonely.

The story follows a young woman named Kay in a flooded world in which humans turn into monsters if they become too lonely. Players are setting out on a journey to find out why this happened to her and how to change her back into a human by bringing her emotions into balance. The trailer alludes to Kay's desire to make peace with her inner darkness and to reach out to others who have the same monsters within them.

You can read a bit more about Sea of Solitude below. A sequel to Unravel, Unravel Two, was just announced and released by EA Originals today, during the EA Play 2018 conference.
