Cyrus Vance, Harvey Weinstein's prosecutor, also faces investigation

Sources said Weinstein would be charged with first and third-degree rape related to one case and criminal sex act related to another.

On Friday morning, the disgraced movie producer was arrested on charges that he raped one woman and forced another to perform oral sex on him. The charge says that in 2004 at 375 Greenwich St., where Weinstein's Miramax film company had space, Weinstein "grabbed the back of informant's head forcing her head downward and forcing her" to engage in oral sex. He is now out on bail, wearing a monitoring device.

The NYPD added on Friday: "Today, at the NYPD's 1st Precinct, Harvey Weinstein was arrested, processed and charged with Rape, Criminal Sex Act, Sex Abuse and Sexual Misconduct for incidents involving two separate women".

The First Police Precinct station house, where Mr. Weinstein was arrested, was not unfamiliar to him.
