Fortnite developer Epic Games has been teasing the upcoming season for quite some time now and the wait will finally be over soon for players. It's hard to see if they are wearing anything new, but the image is definitely suggesting that the meteorite impact could introduce a lot of new items into the game.

What do you want to see in Season 4? An additional tweet revealed that the servers are scheduled to go down starting at 4 a.m. ET, preparing millions of players for what to expect when everyone tries to hop back into some matches when the servers try to go back online.

The most popular working theory is that the big meteor with touch down tomorrow, destroying the Titled Towers area of the map and leaving an enormous crater in its place.

With season three wrapping up and heated chatter dominating the web, clues have started appearing in the game, including meteorites and campsites, pointing to an intriguing new turn for the game as season 4 approaches.

All in all, things are looking good for both Fortnite and Fortnite: Battle Royale.

The season 4 downtime for Fortnite [Free] begins on Tuesday, May 1st, at 4:00 AM EDT. It did not say how long the update process would take, but if you are having troubles getting connected in the morning, that is probably why. Fortnite had a 73% increase in revenue since February which is likely due to the new Battle Pass Season and John Wick skin.

While the artwork also featured what looked the outline of a meteor strike, hinting that the much rumoured comet was coming in Fortnite season 4.
