Adityanath is a disgrace to Indian politics, and he is unfit to be the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier in the day, The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday detained BJP legislator Kuldeep Singh Sengar who has been accused with the alleged gang rape of a 17-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh, an official said. "BJP leaders have mastered the art of extending state protection to rapists, shaming the victim and her family, defending the accused and crying conspiracy, blatant cover-ups, absolute whataboutery and superficial damage Control, and the Adityanath government has perfected this art to the hilt", Randeep Singh Surjewala said in a statement.
Sengar was asked to join the investigation when he was about to leave for Varanasi.More news: Zidane sick of Real 'robbery' jibes after Juve game

The victim's family also alleged that the accused MLA's brother, Atul Singh Sengar, along with his companions also raped the girl and thrashed the victim's father on April 3 for refusing to withdraw the FIR over the same.
Further, Allahabad High Court said it will monitor the probe into the horrific rape case. While scheduling the case to be heard on Friday, the HC had on Thursday slammed the police for the way it acted in dealing with the complaint made by the rape survivor. "If this is the stand you are repeatedly taking, then we will be forced to observe in our order that "law and order has collapsed in the state". The 2nd is in rioting, in which 4 people have been taken into custody.
She also urged that there should be no victim shaming in the rape and murder cases. Her family alleged that she was raped by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his associates a year ago, and no action was taken against the accused. On April 9, he died in hospital.
