Luke Bryan asked him, "Have you kissed a girl and liked it?" in a reference to Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" single. "I have never been in a relationship and I can't kiss a girl without being in a relationship".

"I think you were a bit rushed and I think that's because I sped up your BPM of the heartbeat", Perry told him. "Katy!" he yelled. "You didn't!" "I wanted my first kiss to be special.I wanted to save it for my first relationship".

Although the kiss went down in October, fans hit the Twitterverse with mixed reviews when the show aired this week, with some calling the kiss "sexual harassment" or "weird", and others saying he was one lucky man.

Fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan cheered and high-fived Perry, who afterwards offered an innocent apology for giving the contestant the "kiss of death".

He never consented to the kiss from Perry, and said he would've refused had the famous singer asked permission in the first place.

Oh, that's right - Katy Perry stole the first kiss of someone. That didn't satisfy her, however, and she asked for another one, moving her face towards him and planting a kiss on his lips.

Instead, Perry landed an impromptu smooch on Glaze's lips when he was leaning in to kiss her on the cheek. "That's what a real first kiss is".

"I wanted to save it for my first relationship", Glaze recently told the New York Times. "I wanted it to be special", Glaze, now 20, told the Times.

The first kiss of an aw-shucks teenager from Oklahoma, delivered by a superstar singer, might have made for a sweet pop-culture moment in a previous era. "But for me, I was raised in a conservative family and I was uncomfortable immediately". However, despite his intimate moment with Perry, Glaze did not advance into the competition's next round.

Months later - and in the wake of movements like #MeToo - Glaze says he doesn't feel he was sexually harassed by Perry, and has rationalized the kiss by determining it didn't actually count. Glaze, shocked and smiling, fell down.

Glaze ended up getting not making the cut for the show, and Perry took some of the blame.

'I was a tad bit uncomfortable.
