This upcoming Monster Hunter World update - which is set to be released on March 22nd - will not only add Deviljho to the game but will also add a new series of quests related to the creature and a new series of rewards players can earn by completing said quests. Information was, and still is, sparse on the update, the only thing that is clear is that a major update will arrive by spring, it will feature the return of Deviljho, a fan favorite monster, and it will be completely free.
During the same time period, a new rocket-powered Great Sword weapon, the Wyvern Ignition will also be available, presumably earned through an event quest. A lumbering bipedal brute wyvern, the Deviljho strikes a threatening figure and is prone to interrupting and attacking hunters who are in the middle of quests that have nothing to do with him - very similar to "Monster Hunter World's" Bazelgeuse. Players will also be able to participate in "daily fun activities".
We're also getting the first seasonal event in the form of the Spring Blossom Festival, from April 6th to April 19th. You'll have until the end of Spring Blossom Fest on 18th April at 5pm PT (20th April, 12am GMT) to unlock the weapon.More news: Microsoft to Open Datacenters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

And the other, available at the start of the Spring Blossom Fest on April 6, will unlock materials to craft the Wyvern Ignition Great Sword, the victor of our community Weapon Design Contest. This event will add some decorations to the Gathering Hall and will add a nighttime fireworks show to the game for the extent of the event.
April brings with it a whole range of new content to Monster Hunter: World, too.
Other changes being introduced are the ability to edit your character's look - it seems as though you will only be able to do this once, however, with additional changes available by purchasing tickets.
