The actor goes on to give his presence in the title his personal stamp of approval, saying, "I highly recommend it".

Set to reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom this summer, Jeff Goldblum will also help to bring the character over to an interactive format, voicing the sarcastic mathematician in the video game Jurassic Park Evolution. He scores it "ten Goldlums out of a possible ten Goldblums - that's my highest rating".

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom arrives in theaters in June 2018. The game, which follows in the footsteps of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis by letting players create their very own dinosaur theme park, will feature Goldblum's voiceover talents as its in-game guide.

As of the time of this writing, Jurassic World Evolution now does not have a release date, but we know that it'll be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Here, they will build their own Jurassic World by bioengineering new dinosaur breeds, construct attractions, containment and research facilities, and try to keep T-Rex confined, apparently.

During today's Xbox gamescom event it was revealed that a Jurassic World game would be coming to the console next year.

Jurassic World Evolution appears to be shaping up nicely, with it being developed by Elite: Dangerous and Planet Coaster creator Frontier Developments. Leading stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return to the island to rescue the dinosaurs before a volcanic eruption threatens their extinction. Jurassic World's director Colin Treverrow wrote the sequel, with J.A. Bayona directing.
