The wife of Mohammed Shami, Hasin Jahan is alleging that her husband is having affairs with many ladies and even accepted money for match fixing.

The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (COA) head Vinod Rai has asked its Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) led by Neeraj Kumar to investigate the allegations made by Shami's wife Hasin Jahan.

This direction comes after cricketer's wife levelled various allegations, including of match-fixing, against the fast bowler. It has come to light that Hasin was married earlier too, and now her first husband Sheikh Saifuddin has broken his silence on the entire incident. An FIR was lodged against the cricketer under sections 498A, 323, 307, 376, 506, 328 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Hasin Jahan then shared some "sensational" phone conversations of Shami's.

The Mohammed Shami-Hasin Jahan saga continues to get murkier with time. Shami has rejected all the accusations and has pleaded with his wife to sort the issues out in private.

Hasin, while speaking to reporters after coming out of Lalbazar, sought the intervention of chief minister Mamata Banerjee.

"The selection (of a player) is done on the basis of merit and I have nothing to say if a player's contract is cancelled on the basis of that", Bandyopadhyay said, reported NDTV. I don't want to give an explanation about it and I want it to be investigated thoroughly. Ive all the evidence with me.

"The COA is concerned only with such portion of the said audio recording in which the person who it is claimed is Md".

She had recently filed a police complaint against Shami and his family members accusing them of domestic violence and cruelty.

Rai concluded his e-mail by asking Kumar to limit his probe only to the issues pointed out by him, unless he finds something which is within the scope of the BCCI's anti-corruption code.

"But she is the one who wrote everything about Shami on Facebook, she is the one who attracted all this attention towards her".
