US President Donald Trump has weighed in on fevered speculation about a potential 2020 White House bid by Oprah Winfrey, saying she probably would not run against him, but if she did, he would win.

Singer Seal is refusing to believe that Oprah Winfrey had no idea disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was an alleged serial predator.

"I did not think they would be talking about it in presidential terms", King said on CBS This Morning of Oprah's speech, as People notes.

Soul singer Seal has claimed Oprah Winfrey knew for years about Harvey Weinstein's abuses, and has slammed the talk show host for being "sanctimonious" and a hypocrite. The 63-year-old has been a cultural force in the country for decades.

I think there's no better way to end this post, but with Oprah's own words "So I want all the girls watching here and now to know that a new day is on the horizon!" The idea, as Winfrey put it with powerful, yet lovely eloquence, was to emphasize that the days of powerful people preying on the powerless are over.

Trump said he didn't expect her to run.

Trump, a businessman and former reality TV star, based part of his appeal on the fact he was truly not a Washington insider.

"Look, I disagree very much on her policies", the spokeswoman said. "But that would be something she would have to determine and lay out if she made a decision to run".

Rasmussen polled 1,000 likely voters in the two days after Winfrey's Golden Globes speech, and the survey has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

Asked what advice she would give a political outsider looking to run for president, press secretary Sarah Sanders declined to engage.

Weinstein's story spurred on the #MeToo movement, a hashtag on social media encouraging women to tweet and publicize their experiences to expose cases of sexual assault.

She wrote on Twitter that women and men should come together and say #TIMESUP!

Meanwhile, one of Winfrey's closest friends said the media mogul and actress is "intrigued" by the possibility of running but is not considering it now.
