Jose Mourinho believes there are some players in world football a club must sign when the chance arises, regardless of circumstances, amid claims Manchester United have stolen a march on Manchester City in pursuit of Alexis Sanchez.
"We like our squad, we believe in our squad - it's just about improving it in a balanced way".
However, Wenger is adamant Sanchez won't leave until the Gunners find an adequate replacement.
'We're only second guessing. So he wants to fight as well for the Premiership.

The next few days will likely reveal a lot more information on the Sanchez saga, with Wenger stating after the Bournemouth defeat that he wants the situation sorted as soon as possible.
Wenger insisted the absence of playmaker Mesut Ozil, who is also out of contract at the end of the season, was due to injury and not because the Germany global is also close to leaving.
"Apart from that, (he's an) Arsenal player, I feel I shouldn't say much more than this".
Ozil is now sixth in Fantasy Premier League scoring for Arsenal. Sanchez will be aware of the riches he will be able to gather by switching to either of the Manchester clubs, along with the potential to win trophies at the highest level.
But despite appearing to push Sanchez away from a move to Manchester United, Ferdinand says he would love the ex-Barcelona player to join the Red Devils. Sanchez wanted to play this afternoon but Wenger did not take him to Bournemouth because a move could happen at any moment, and Wenger admitted Sanchez was now on "stand-by" for a transfer.
City are willing to pay Sanchez £285,000-a-week while United are happy to go over £300,000-a-week in order to usurp their Manchester rivals. "It's better I don't come out on any specific name". It is a hard period the first year.
"Alexis would have played", Wenger said.
