It will be the first opportunity for Model 3 reservation holders and the public to see and sit in the vehicle outside of the few events where Tesla brought the Model 3. In the electric auto maker's Q4 2017 delivery report, Tesla stated that it is expecting to hit its target pace of manufacturing 5,000 Model 3 units per week by the end of Q2 2018.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, you can catch the Model 3 at the Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto. That's coming later, the company said in a press release.
In a lot of ways, the debut of the Model 3 at both the Stanford and Century showrooms is an incredibly favorable sign for Tesla and its ever-growing consumer base.

For holders of reservations for the production-delayed Model 3, the company's move to put it on display may echo the Greek myth of Tantalus, a starving king condemned to stand with a bounty of fruit just out of reach.
In November, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that his firm wouldn't hit its production target of 5,000 Model 3s per week by the end of December as promised, but instead by the end of March. "When production of the solar roof begins, Tesla will also incorporate Panasonic's cells into the many kinds of solar glass tile roofs that Tesla will be manufacturing".
Despite the lag, the company set a sales record for 2017, delivering 101,312 Model S and Model X vehicles alone during the year - the first time Tesla crossed the 100,000-vehicles-sold benchmark in 14 years.
Even Tesla CEO Elon Musk pushed the company's anti-selling efforts towards the mass market auto, explicitly reminding customers that the Model 3, despite being the newest vehicle in Tesla's lineup, does not feature superior features compared to its larger, more expensive siblings. In California, the average gas vehicle costs an annual $1,407, compared to $580 for an electric vehicle, the researchers reported this month.
