As for the digital goodies, all the downloadable contents for each game in the trilogy will also be included so that players will not have to download them anymore when they purchase the Box Set. These people have been calling out for a remaster of the game, especially considering that the original version had a number of glaring technical faults. I just wanted to step in very quickly and say that right now, we haven't officially announced anything about the subject of a discount. PC versions of the game will feature native 4K, all textures 2K unconverted with 60 fps. Dark Souls Remastered, probably in the top percentile of requested PC games given the state of the original version on PC and its popularity, is apparently one of several announcements due at a secret Nintendo Direct due to broadcast today. PS4 Pro and Xbox One X owners will be happy to hear their beefed-up consoles will upscale Dark Souls up to 4K and at a super-smooth 60FPS. For the Nintendo Switch, the game will be available in 1080p with 30 fps in TV mode.

Looking forward to Dark Souls Remastered or are you in "Remaster Demon's Souls First" camp?

And that does not even include folks like me who own Dark Souls but will actually stick with it and try to finish it when it's on the Switch.

If surprise Total War games aren't your thing, how about surprise Dark Souls ones? Dark Souls Remastered is the latest in the trend of critically acclaimed remastered games. One change we've been made aware of is that multiplayer will be expanded to support six concurrent players, which makes sense if the goal is to get Dark Souls' covenant system working a little more smoothly. The price is definitely steep, but it is packed with collectibles for the biggest "Dark Souls" fans out there.
