The latest Dragon Ball FighterZ clip shows off one of the fighters on the roster, Hit.

Dragon Ball Fighter Z is looking rad. Since his debut in the Universe 6 Saga, Hit has become a fan-favorite.

Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball FighterZ was first revealed in June of a year ago.

Ahead of the release of "Dragon Ball FighterZ" this month, developer Bandai Namco shared a new trailer revealing a new fighter.

English voice actors Sean Schemmel (Goku) and Chrisopher Sabat (Vegeta) have been having a bit of a playful spat on Twitter, puffing out chests and comparing virtual Spirit Bomb sizes (I know Vegeta doesn't do the SB). Hit was also strong enough to push Goku into using his full power. Hit's signature attack is Time Skip, an ability that lets him jump forward in time by a tenth of a second. Where you can't really see his moves thanks to his Time-Skip ability.

Players who pre-order the game will receive two early unlockable characters - Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, as well as two two "exclusive lobby avatars".

When is the Dragon Ball Fighterz beta available to play? You simply need to redeem that code again, on either the PlayStation Store or the Microsoft Store, and then you should be able to pre-download a beta version of the game that will go live on Saturday Jan. 13.

Those who will be unable to participate in the open beta can still play "Dragon Ball FighterZ" later this month, as its official release is set for January 26.
