Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai earned Rs7.50 crore, approximately, on its second Tuesday, 2 January, as per figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com, which is nearly half of what it earned the previous day, 1 January - Rs 18 crore, approximately. The actor said, "For us, it is the audience's love and reactions that matter the most, and we feel overwhelmed with the love that Tiger Zinda Hai has garnered".

The action flick which is the sequel to the hit film "Ek Tha Tiger" is breaking records one after another.

But the movie's collection took a dip on day 13 due to the Maharashtra Bandh called by Dalit groups. On its first day itself, it had earned Rs 34.10 crore and proceeded to mark the highest single-day earning of any Salman Khan movie on Sunday with Rs 45.53 crore.

If you had to count on anyone to better their box office records every year, it is Salman Khan. The film details the adventurous life of cross-border spies-cum-lovers Tiger (played by Salman) and Zoya (played by Katrina) as they go on a high-risk rescue operation. Besides this, Tiger Zinda Hai has a gripping plot and the storyline is fast paced. "Tiger Zinda Hai is my second film with Ali Abbas Zafar, and I am looking forward to working with him again". Moreover, though Dhoom: 3 was primarily an Aamir Khan starrer, Tiger Zinda Hai boasts of a much more substantial role for Katrina, hence adding on to her glory.

The film has received a great response at the box office and it might enter the 300 crore club by this week.
