OnePlus launched the Star Wars-themed variant of the OnePlus 5T in India last month, and following the "overwhelming response" received by the device, the company is now releasing the Lava Red color option in the country.
The handset maker has already launched the same variant in China a year ago in November. The company had earlier teased the OnePlus 5T Lava Red Edition for India and has now announced that the registration will begin from 11th of January 2018 on amazon.in and will be open until 20th January 2018. Unlike the original OnePlus 5T which also comes in 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration, this is 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage variant. It will be available exclusively from Amazon India starting from January 20 at 12pm. OnePlus claims that the Lava Red's unique color is achieved through a combination of high temperatures, long baking times, two "anodic oxidation" processes, "double blasting", and "AF coating" - there's less than 0.01% variation between units. The Lava Red variant comes with similar features and specifications as the original model in Midnight Black that was launched in November past year.
