As for The New Mutants, the horror-mutant movie will be delayed over 10 months, with the release date moved from April to February 22, 2019.
The good news for Deadpool fans is that the sequel has actually been brought forward by two weeks and so will be releasing on May 18 instead of June 1. That said, they need to find a director for that one soon.
The only film unaffected by the jiggling is X-Men: Dark Phoenix, that's still on track for a release at the end of the year.More news: Assange now an Ecuadorean in London

What are the reasons for these delays exactly? If it was just an issue of a bit of overlap overseas then surely Fox could have moved New Mutants to the Autumn, a setback of this length does inadvertently suggest that production hasn't gone as well as expected. Likewise, given we've waited this long for Gambit, another four months isn't going to make much difference. Its director, Gore Verbinski, just bowed out of the project and the studio is now searching for a replacement.
Alas, Wyatt bailed to be replaced by Doug Liman. who also bailed, to be replaced by Gore Verbinski. who, it is confirmed, has now followed suit. You can decide whether or not you think that one's ever gonna happen; New Mutants and Deadpool 2 are sure things.
These are interesting times for 20 Century Fox and their X-Men series. The film is scheduled to release two weeks after the most anticipated movie of the year - Avengers: Infinity War - and a week before Lucasfilm's Han Solo movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story.
According to Collider.com, the project was being developed at Fox before studio chiefs signed off on the merger with Disney in December.
