Campo Santo, the studio that developed the brilliant first-person adventure game Firewatch from previous year, came out with a trailer for its upcoming title In the Valley of the Gods.
The title, set in 1920s Egypt, is a first-person adventure title that places players in the shoes of a filmmaker and explorer.
In the Valley of Gods is now in development and does not yet have a release date or system requirements.
The trailer features two characters diving deep into the ruins of an Egyptian fortress, and unlike with Firewatch you can actually see the face of your partner.More news: Dylan Farrow Rips Hollywood, Media for Ignoring Woody Allen Sex Misconduct Claims

You can check out the reveal trailer for the game from The Game Awards below. So Firewatch fans anxiously anticipating Campo Santo's next game have a nice long wait ahead of them.
"In the Valley of Gods" isn't a direct sequel to "Firewatch", but it's a bit of a spiritual successor.
The only bad news, is that 2019 or later release window.
