Adding word in para 3) Jaipur, Dec 7 (PTI) In a shocking incident, a labourer was burnt alive and a video of the gruesome incident was uploaded on social media in Rajasthan's Rajsamand district, police said.
The victim, identified as Mohammed Afrazul, was a migrant from West Bengal's Malda district and was working in Rajsamand as a contract labourer. The victim can be seen crying for help in the video even as the accused beats him with an axe and later burns him alive. He then sets the victim on fire.
Senior police official Anand Srivastava told BBC Hindi's Dilnawaz Pasha that the man had shared several "hateful" videos on social media. Furthermore, the attacker can be seen saying in the video: "Jihadis, leave our country, else you will meet the same destiny". The brutality of the crime, that Regar filmed, has left many shocked.

However, The Indian Express report said that the police identified the half-charred body as that of Mohammed Afrazul.
The pamphlets, carrying a picture of a Bollywood actress, warned the people against "love jihad" and also claimed that two Muslim actors had left their Hindu wives. They were informed by locals that a semi-burnt body of a man was found along the Dev Heritage Road in Rajnagar area of Rajsamand.
An unemployed man, Shambhu Lal Regar, is purportedly seen in the video hitting Afrazul, pouring petrol over him and setting him on fire. The dead man's slippers and bike were also found from the location of the murder.
Police in the western Indian state of Rajasthan have arrested a man who allegedly hacked another man to death and set him alight before sharing video of the apparent religious attack.
