A mother and daughter who went missing from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area have been found safe.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say Megan checked into an EMS substation in St. Louis to get help. According to police, Megan Lori Stack and her daughter, Ava, were missing since about 1:30 Monday afternoon.
Authorities say they are concerned about their safety due to Megan's emotional state, which they did not elaborate on. Selman also appeared to have had alcohol, which police said was a contributing factor.More news: Farthest-ever supermassive black hole reveals the early universe
