The Hobbit and Berlin Station actor Richard Armitage is to lend his voice to the iconic character of Logan in Marvel's first scripted podcast. Now, Marvel is expanding their reach beyond comics, films, TV, books, and games to enter the audio storytelling arena with the ever-popular Wolverine.

Wolverine: The Long Night follows agents Sally Pierce (Celia Keenan-Bolger) and Tad Marshall (Ato Essandoh) as they arrive in Alaska to investigate a series of murders and quickly discover the town lives in fear of a serial killer. The twosome join forces with deputy Bobby Reid, Broadway's Andrew Keenan-Bolger (TUCK EVERLASTING, NEWSIES, MARY POPPINS), to investigate their main suspect, Logan (Richard Armitage). Wolverine: The Long Night. "Part of the series is him recovering those memories and despite his attempts to separate himself from society, getting drawn into a situation where frontier justice is called for". Wolverine also has a lot of mainstream appeal, and is perfectly suited for a gritty crime drama.

Wolverine: The Long Night will be released on Stitcher in spring of 2018, and will hit wide release on other platforms in fall of 2018.

Other performers who will appear on the show are Zoe Chao, Chaske Spencer, Bob Balaban, Jordan Bridges, Scott Adsit, David Call, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Michael J. Burg, Lannon Killea, and Chris Gethard.

Wolverine: The Long Night will be directed by Brendan Baker, with sound design from Chloe Prasinos and Daniel Fink of Marvel and Jenny Radelet of Stitcher producing. The 1st podcast (radio play) series put out by @Marvel.
