Festival of Eid-e-Milad today

The cellular services in different parts of the country are suspended as the nation is observing Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

Mawlid is observed as the Islamic prophet's birthday and is commemorated in Rabi'al-awwal, the third month in the religious calendar. While the day is widely celebrated in India and Pakistan, it is not celebrated in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The biggest procession organised by the Sunni United Forum of India was taken outfrom Durga Quadri Chaman in Falaknuma and after wending through many streets in the old city, it was culminated at Moghalpura.
