Triple killings: Search for suspect, child continues in Ohio

The Lawrence County sheriff's office and the state attorney general's office wouldn't immediately confirm Thursday whether Devin Holston was found safe.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Holston lived at a home in the 15000 block of State Route 93 in Pedro where three adults were found shot to death at about 7pm, Wednesday.

Upon arrival Deputies found three adults inside a house trailer deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

An endangered child advisory for a missing 8-year-old has been cancelled following a deadly shooting in southern Ohio. Police have reason to believe he is in danger. Deputies said the victim had stab wounds to the neck and head. A search was conducted around the initial crime scene, neighbor's houses, friends' and relatives' house and the woods around the area.

Around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies spotted Lawson in a blue truck in Ironton, about 15 miles south of where the victims were found, the sheriff said.

Lawson was last seen on foot near the scene.

Police gave chase, and Lawson crashed his vehicle into a ditch.

Authorities on Thursday were hunting for 23-year-old Aaron Lawson, whom they called a "person of interest" in the attacks.

Lawson is described as being 5-feet-9-inches tall, 139 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office said Devin Holston has been "recovered" but would not release any other information.

Victims' names are not being released at this time pending identification and notification of family.

Residents of Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland, Warren, Adams, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto, Vinton, Athens, Gallia, Meigs, Morgan, and Washington counties should be on the lookout for Devin.
